102. Am I Allowed to Be Human as a Christian Woman in Leadership? 🥴

I have to come clean…  I struggled to sit down and record this episode.  It’s not that I don’t want to hang out with all of you lovely people. Knowing you are out there, serving you, and knowing you are generous enough to give me a little bit of your very valuable and limited time is among the greatest blessings in my life right now. 

 

I was struggling to show up this week because I am human.  The past several weeks have been shining examples of my humanness.  Much like many of you, I sometimes struggle with perfectionism.  I want to show up and have all kinds of wisdom to share with you.  I want to share the successes that come from doing the work I talk about on this show. 

 

Spoiler alert…I am not perfect.  I am human and I don’t always live up to my expectations.  But that is real life.  It is real life for me and it is real life for you.

So today we are talking about how we are just that…  we are human.  Even though we are Christian women leaders, we are just as human as anyone else.  Sometimes we just don’t allow ourselves to be.  Our times of vulnerability may just be prime opportunities to tune in to what God has to say to us.
