73. 🎗💗Learn How Breast Cancer Changed My Perspective and Priorities

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.   So…. In honor of that, I am sharing a little bit about my personal journey with breast cancer and how it actually blessed me in a big way.   

 

Even if you can’t relate to the cancer part of this story, I think the message is valuable for anyone who is currently drowning in a list of to-do’s, frustrated by all of the fires you are putting out every day, or irritated with people in your life... any way in which you are being consumed by the day-to-day challenges of adulting.  It is especially applicable to those of you who are stuck in rut of being “too busy” to enjoy life. 

 

I know this certainly is not the experience had by many, but I am so very grateful for my cancer diagnosis because it gave me a perspective that only comes when you feel like you might have far less time on this earth than you had planned.

 

Time is a gift that the Lord gives us, and he intends for us to live a life of abundance, prioritizing the things and the people that mean the most.  Stop now and assess how you are spending your time and mental energy.  Are you wasting it on tasks, things, or people that really are not the priorities God intends for you?
